On getting to the breeder who would take us to the farm for the broodstocks, we had to wait till he was done, as he was sorting and grading his current production. It was really educational and insightful as we had alot of questions to ask him and he was able to answer to the best of his knowledge.
Eventually, when he was done, we set out to the breeder’s location, but on getting there, we realized that he was yet to drain the broodstock's pond, so we had to wait an extra 1 hours, which was really annoying. The farmer eventually drained the pond, and when we saw the broodstock's sizes, we noticed that they are yet to load. So we were only able to select about 5kg.
The breeder who took us there contacted another farmer, so we had to visit another farm. On getting to this new farm, they quickly drained the water, and we were able to see that their own broodstocks had loaded. We selected the ones we wanted, and it was scaled (6.6kg). On our way out of the farm after paying, we contacted the owner of the male Heterobacus, which would serve as our stud, and we were on our way, as it was already getting late.
We got to his farmer and he had already selected two promising males, Heterobacus. We did not waste time, and we immediately set out. The distance appeared to be longer as we had loads to carry (the broodstocks), and along the way, I had to buy cold water to add as they were getting stressed. We got home safely and transferred them to another container.
I immediately started preparing the hatching ponds, and I had to also inject the female broodstocks so I could spawn tomorrow. That was how I spent my day, and I pray to have a good hatching rate tomorrow.
