This is a pot with mixed succulents that I have. Nothing was planed there, simply potted up some small ones that I had. And damn that was a good decision! The random colours and shapes I put there work so well now and I just adore looking at it.
Normally I would show the colours (and you can check them in this post as they are quite amazing.
But I wanted to do the black and white version too. Why? Because of the colours, the spots and textures.
It has to work, right?
Well... sometimes it does, sometimes doesn't. When thee is too much going on in similar colours it will just turn to a grey image. It way more interesting with more colours that can be adjusted: darkened or brightened up. It works for me at least :)
The Jelly Beans (Sedum rubrotinctum) were intense red with some greened tips that could me lightened up. The red stayed dark in this case.
