I was at the garden earlier to check out the plants, and of course I could not miss the chance to do some photography as well. It has become part of my routine already. Whenever I go there, even for a short visit, I always feel that there will be something interesting waiting for me.
What fascinates me about photographing plants is the variety of textures that I can find. Some leaves are smooth, some are rough, some are already damaged, and some still hold tiny details that are easy to miss if I just walk too fast. In black and white, these textures become more visible to me. The color is removed, but the lines, shadows, marks, and shapes become stronger.
In these photos, I tried to focus on those little details. The flower has its own soft and wrinkled texture, while the leaves show drops, marks, and edges that tell their own story. Even the small plants growing around the garden have something beautiful to show. They may look ordinary at first, but when viewed closely, they become interesting subjects.
Aside from taking photos, I also enjoyed having a slow walk and breathing some fresh air before starting my day. I think this is one of the best ways to prepare myself for whatever the day will bring. A quiet moment in the garden gives me a peaceful mind and a better mood.
Sometimes we do not need anything grand to feel inspired. A few plants, a simple walk, and a camera are enough to remind me that beauty is always around us.
Have a good day ahead.
