I saw these red leaves that were on the ground and thought I would like to explore their textures. There was a certain roughness to them that I liked, and combined with the wood grain on the bench, I felt like there was quite a bit catching my eye. Macro can be challenging, or it can actually be easy. I find just slowing down and taking the time to observe is what brings a certain ease to the photography. It'll just start to show up in different spots; your eyes might clear up because you aren't trying to rush or expect something interesting to happen on demand.
