Nice places to dine in Seoul - #bao27

The First place I want to introduce you to is #Bao27. You can also follow the instagram on(https://www.instagram.com/bao27_hannam)
It is a nice Dining Bar in Hannam, near by Itaewon.

Actually the owner chef is a friend of mine and ex-collegue from work. He is using French cooking technique with Fresh Korean ingredients to create fantastic fusion dishes. And as you can easily guess from the name, this place serves Bao.

Dining at his place has been a real pleasure.

So lets begin!!!

You can google to find the location. It is 5minutes walking distance from #Hangangjin subway station. If you are walking from Itaewon it is something like 20 minutes walk.

You may find it bit difficult to find because it is inside the streets. Because of its’ size the place is cozy and welcoming.

The Menu is simple and easy to order.

By the way it probably has changed a bit because they change the menu every season.

Fluffy creamy Pistacchio flavored soup was served as starters. And it was Sooooo Gooooood!~ the texture was really soft and the flavor was rich and creamy.

I ordered a Pork bun! Yes the portion is not that big. But try a bite and you will know that this guy is serious about his food. It is not like your normal Bao with hoisin sauce and braised pork belly.

The Bao is filled in with #PulledPork seasoned with soy sause and barbeque sauce, wasabi mayonnaise and hazelnut crumble. The first taste is rich and savory and sweet, then the end flavor is nutty and refreshing as the wasabi in the mayonnaise washes away the greasy feeling. It was a pleasure to feel different tastes on your palate.

Yep, He is the man!

Then I had this Iberico Pork shoulder steak, which was absolutely amazing.
See how beautiful it is. It almost looks like Beef.
It was unusual for me to try Pork Medium as I always had my pork welldone. Apparently you can eat Ibrico Pork Medium! and It is great!!!

This pork melts had deep meaty flovor, smokey, savory and the fat melted smoothly in the mouth. Because it was my very first Iberico Pork and medium cooked pork I had to rate it high.It was my favorite dish that day.

BTW I ordered truffle oil french fries and you shouldn’t miss that as well.
