In every microdistrict of the city there are such people who warn about night walks in this area. In the 1st microdistrict they said that it was dangerous here and if I went deeper, I could return without my sticks (they are talking about a tripod). Of course, I checked - there was nothing dangerous there. In Flax Factory microdistrict, they were also surprised how I was not afraid to walk alone. Here, two men claimed that Watermen microdistrict (Backwater) too is the most dangerous area and it鈥檚 better not to walk here in the evenings with a camera.
"Each sandpiper praises his swamp!" In theory, in any place you can get a f***up, if you behave defiantly.
But in fact, in the evenings, there is not a soul on the streets.
In fact, I myself am more like a maniac: late in the evening, a man in a dark jacket with a hood wanders among the bushes - he will either stop, then go forward, and then come back.
I think people are more afraid of me than I am of them.
For the rest of the time, I thought about this, what could happen to me late at night in some outlying microdistrict.
I often have contacts with people, but mostly someone asks a cigarette at me, they are interested in the goals and objectives of the shooting, or simply ask how to get to a certain place.
Or, as I said above, they warn about a dangerous walk.
For as long as I can remember, I always walked alone at any time of the day and never had any trouble.
Only once in all the time I came across a drug addict in the forest belt who attacked me.
And here is a residential area, where, in theory, it should be more dangerous on the one hand, but safer on the other.
But it鈥檚 better never to take a weapon of defense with you! No knife, no pepper spray, no traumatic gun - don't take anything!
If you took a self-defense tool with you, then by doing so you prescribe the code of a possible attack in the system. Not the fact that you will immediately be attacked, but the chance increases.
The highest means of self-defense are a high frequency of vibrations and common sense. What you need for the first - read my posts, I've talked about this many times. And the second means that if you are aware that drug addicts hang out in this area or aggressive homeless people live somewhere in the bushes, then it is clearly not worth going there. But such data should be supported by official statistics, and not by the words of the first comer.
