Donuts and donut holes, kinda, but munkki and donut are not exactly the same. Today is Vappu, aka May 1st celebrations in Finland, and munkki is a traditional treat for the day, along with Sima drink, which I forgot to take a picture of. I made my own sima and munkit, and now I'm fully sugared up for a few days. I ate probably 6 donut holes in one sitting and I did take some of these to friends since donuts are really only good the day you make them.
I just came back from an evening walk and I captured a few interesting pictures, but I'll post those tomorrow because I'm too tired to process them now. It's time for me to warm up with tea and have a few more donuts before bed.
