I've been capturing beautiful little details that caught my eye in our home in the past few weeks. The light that is now pouring in after a long winter really brings out and literally highlights beautiful details in decor.
It's not unusual for me to walk around inside in golden hour light, a mug of something warm in my hand, just looking at what sparks my interest. Light is always changing not only within a day, but with seasons, so I have to pay close attention to it at least for a full year in the new home to see most of the different beautiful spots the light hits.
There is always some camera near so I keep snapping the random pretty details here and there, usually just with the camera and lens that is the closest. Sometimes it can even be the iPhone but those results are pretty abysmal compared to any of my other cameras.
Ps. Yes, I do like gold and brass details in the home.
