Cuando vi el tema de esta semana: Conversación con Dios inmediatamente pensé en cantar Stand by me, siempre he pensado que esta canción habla sobre Dios y que muchas veces los artistas escriben canciones para Dios pero deben maquillarlas un poco para que parezca que se habla del amor hacia otra persona como por ejemplo en Stand by me añadieron la palabra Darling, supongo que para hacer la canción más comercial. En la industria musical, como en muchas industrias, vender es más importante que ser fiel a la esencia. Considero que por eso vemos a muchos cantantes haciendo música "comercial" como una manera de no morir musicalmente en un mundo que aprecia más un ritmo que una buena letra.
Mientras ensayaba Stand by me algo me hizo preguntarme cuántas veces al hablar con Dios le pregunto cómo está, entonces tomé la guitarra y nació esta canción que titulé Gracias a ti, unos días atrás la excelente cantante 
Gracias a ti es una melodía, que como su nombre lo indica habla sobre el agradecimiento hacia Dios, hacia su divina misericordia que me permite seguir respirando por este camino, le agradezco tanto lo que me da como por lo que me quita, quita de mi vida todo aquello que me hace daño o puede dañar a otros.
Le agradezco por ser mi abrigo en los tiempos de turbulencia, por ser un gran amigo que siempre permanece a mi lado aún cuando yo tome otro camino, le agradezco por su infinita bondad, por regalarme el don del canto que me ha permitido seguir tocando las estrellas con los pies bien puestos en la tierra, gracias por permitirme hacer lo que amo y compartirlo con más personas, ya no es un trabajo es un disfrute.
Siempre estaré infinitamente agradecida por todos los momentos preciosos que me ha regalado en mi recorrido de vida, por unirme a personas que me dan su apoyo constante y me motivan a seguir hacia adelante, de esas personas que son regalos mismos de la vida llamados amigos.
Y pues aquí tienen a Gracias a ti, espero que les agrade esta composición y les transmita la paz que sentí al momento de cantarla, por cierto que en algunos momentos cambié la letra producto de la emoción.
