[ESP/ENG] Mi primer evento de Hive

Cuando decidí participar en el tercer evento de HiveCubaCon varios fueron los temores que pasaron por mi cabeza:

Primero el hecho de ser una jubilada que no tenía mucho conocimiento sobre estos temas, a pesar de tener más de un año en el ecosistema.

Segundo, no tenía mucho que mostrar a los participantes porque, según leí en el evento anterior vinieron hivers de Pinar del Río y de otras provincias. Además, estuvieron miembros de la comunidad venezolana.

El otro elemento que me producía temor era el hecho de pensar que estaría fuera de lugar y no supiera como conducirme.

Todo lo anterior fue borrado de plano, cuando vi el recibimiento, la sonrisa de los jóvenes, la bienvenida dada por el líder de la comunidad #hivecuba, el incansable @manuphotos y cuando pude entrar y me presentaron a miembros destacados de la comunidad cubana mis miedos desaparecieron.

Pude conocer a @lileisabel, @theinfiltred, @newnow497 y a @osismi, a quien desde hace tiempo tenía deseos de conocer en vivo porque nos unen muchas cosas en común: profesoras, jubiladas y con nuestros hijos viviendo fuera de Cuba. A otros como @nony y @tonyes ya los conocía.

Todo lo que vi me gustó. Es increíble el mundo de oportunidades que hay que uno desconoce.

Y, esto fue de las cosas que más me gustaron del evento porque, al igual que yo, había personas de todas las edades intentando aprender de este universo digital y, ahí estaban haciendo sus cuentas, aprendiendo sobre la cantidad de miembros de la comunidad, publicaciones realizadas, aunque no entendí mucho, ya sé que puedo cambiar mis monedas de manera confiable, nos enseñaron sobre cómo publicar, cómo hacer más atractivas nuestras publicaciones y nos explicaron diferentes técnicas que podemos usar, para que nuestros contenidos lleguen a más personas y sean más atractivos.

Otro elemento significativo fue el poder hacer amistades e intercambiar con otros miembros de la comunidad. Me gustó mucho el intercambio con las hijas de dos amigos míos Amarilis y Jussel que, tienen un camino recorrido dentro del ecosistema o comienzan su andar por ella.

Si todo lo anterior no bastara, en el evento nos dieron un coctel de bienvenida y alimentos. Además, como parte de las bondades del evento algunos negocios vendieron sus productos comestibles que podías pagar en dinero o moneda digital del ecosistema.

Una cosa es segura, para el cuarto evento de la comunidad cubana de #hive estaré ahí como la primera.

When I decided to participate in the third HiveCubaCon event, several fears crossed my mind:

First the fact that I was a retiree who did not have much knowledge about these topics, despite having more than a year in the ecosystem.

Second, I did not have much to show to the participants because, as I read in the previous event, hivers from Pinar del Río and other provinces came. In addition, there were members of the Venezuelan community.

The other element that made me fearful was the fact that I thought I would be out of place and that I would not know how to conduct myself.

All of the above was erased from flat, when I saw the reception, the smile of the young people, the welcome given by the leader of the #hivecuba community, the tireless @manuphotos and when I was able to enter and was introduced to prominent members of the Cuban community my fears disappeared.

I was able to meet @lileisabel, @theinfiltred, @newnow497 and @osismi, whom I had long wanted to meet live because we share many things in common: teachers, retired and with our children living outside Cuba. Others like @nony and @tonyes I already knew.

I liked everything I saw. It's amazing the world of opportunities that you don't know about.

And, this was one of the things I liked most about the event because, just like me, there were people of all ages trying to learn about this digital universe and, there they were making their accounts, learning about the number of community members, publications made, although I did not understand much, I already know that I can change my coins reliably, they taught us about how to publish, how to make our publications more attractive and they explained different techniques that we can use, so that our contents reach more people and are more attractive.

Another significant element was being able to make friends and exchange with other members of the community. I really enjoyed the exchange with the daughters of two of my friends, Amarilis and Jussel, who have already made their way into the ecosystem or are just starting their journey through it.

If all the above was not enough, at the event we were given a welcome cocktail and food. In addition, as part of the goodness of the event some businesses sold their edible products that you could pay for in money or digital currency of the ecosystem.

One thing is for sure, for the fourth #hive Cuban community event I will be there as the first one.
