Brittney Griner got Karma in Russia; This has nothing to do about racism.
It doesn't matter if you believe her punishment was too harsh or not, you cannot deny that Brittney Griner should have stuck to her guns if she claims to support her community. You wouldn't willingly go to a place like Russia to make money and spend cash, if you truly cared about your black community, lgbt community, or feminists. Her actions were minimal, but it cost her a great deal of time in Russia, mostly because of the political dispute because of the US. Well knowing these tensions, she should have been more careful to play these kinds of games in Russia.
What do you guys think? Am I being too harsh? Is Russia being too harsh?
