After getting our much-awaited cream puffs (from my previous post) our next stop on the first day of our trip was Burnham Park.

I was actually excited to see it because it had recently been renovated, and I kept seeing posts about it on social media. From the photos, it looked so much better than I remembered. And when we finally got there, it did not disappoint!

Surrounded by all this greenery and those beautiful pine trees. 🌲 Baguio really has its own kind of charm.

Cleaners around the park keeping Burnham Park clean and beautiful.

You could see cleaners going around the park, making sure the place stayed nice and tidy.

There’s also a man-made lake where you can rent dragon boats and swan boats.

The little boat dock was busy with people getting ready for their boat rides, while others were lining up to rent boats and life jackets.

As aunties in their 30s, we just want to relax and talk about random stuff so we didn’t really walk around that much. We mostly just sat there and relaxed, just like many of the other people in the park. Because sometimes, you don’t really need to do much when you travel. You just need a nice place to sit, good weather, and time to enjoy the view.

More greeneries.

After running out of random stuff to talk about, we decided to go back at our local friend's house and rest. We passed by the wide road that is still within Burnham Park where people could rent bicycles, and they weren’t your usual bikes! Some looked more like little four-wheeled rides, which honestly looked fun.

There’s a picnic grove too, perfect for people who just want to sit, eat, talk, or simply enjoy the surroundings.

The weather was just perfect. It was sunny, but it wasn’t hot. Because… Baguio. Even at noon, the cool weather made it comfortable to stay outside.

Of course, the mini mirror came with me. 😂📸 Had to take a little mirror shot!

The sun was out, but thankfully, Baguio said, “Don’t worry, I got you.” ☀️❄️

***Just a little Baguio moment because the scenery was too pretty not to take a photo. ***

Too cool outside that I was even wearing my knitted jacket even when it's sunny.

Honestly, this peaceful little stop was already worth the 6-hour bus ride from Manila.

Another Baguio side quest completed. 💚
