Como cuentan las viejas y lo dicen las leyendas, mientras los hombres del barón vigilen bajo la luz de sus bendecidas teas las murallas del cementerio, las extrañas sombras que lo embrujan no se aventuraran a salir fuera y atormentar a los vivos con sus lamentos.

The guards light their torches in the temple, and a procession of men-at-arms descends the streets, announcing that the night watch has begun. As it passes, the fearful villagers return to their homes and close their shutters.

As the old women tell and the legends say, as long as the baron's men watch over the walls of the cemetery under the light of their blessed fire, the strange shadows that haunt it will not venture out and torment the living with their wailing.
