Office day — a demanding one

Three office days in a row, and this one was the busiest of the three. A full, quite demanding day — the kind where the hours disappear into meetings and tasks and you look up and it's already evening.

Movement during the day was minimal. The step counter was patient.

Evening detour — father's garden

Before the run, a small but meaningful stop: a visit to my father's garden to pick fresh lettuce. The kind of errand that doesn't feel like an errand at all. A doggy walk around the block rounded out the pre-run routine. By that point the counter already showed 6,200 steps.

Late evening run — quicker than yesterday

Out the door at 22:00. The route wound through Črnuče — past Gmajna, looping east towards Črnuški Bajer and back. Almost identical distance to yesterday, but the legs had more to say tonight.

4.03 km in 22:15 — average pace 5'31"/km, average effort pace 5'26"/km. Noticeably quicker than yesterday's 23-minute run over the same distance. The body decided it wanted to move. No complaints.

Conditions: 16°C, 63% humidity, E 7 km/h wind.

Published before midnight — for a change

For once, the report goes up before the day is actually over. A small victory in itself.

The #poprzeczka

Day 8 of May. The bar is at 8,000 steps. With 10,300 steps on the counter — cleared comfortably. The streak lives on.
