@actifit report for Friday, September 27th 2019 will be slightly different. It will focus on the new shoes that I took out for the first time.

Alpina is a Slovenian shoe factory with a long tradition of making top quality shoes, both for every day use as well as for sports and outdoors.

I was in search for a new pair of low, sturdy and water resistant shoes lately. These shoes would be primarily used for walking the dogs in the wet and cold time of the year.

I was looking at Alpina brand too. In fact, I wanted to try another model. Then, on last Saturday, one of the items in the goody bag at the Kranjska Gora trail was a 20 € voucher for the Breeze. So I went to the shop to check them out. I liked them and took them home. This pleasure has cost me 100 € minus the voucher. I consider 80 euros a decent price for such a pair of shoes. Hopefully they will serve me well for at least four seasons.

First impressions

I am satisfied with the purchase. It looks that I've got exactly what I wanted.

Strong yet fairly light shoes which are water resistant and have reasonable grip.

How the shoes will stand the test of usage in harsher conditions? I have a feeling that they will prove to be an excellent pair of shoes for what I need.

Ps: later I've seen these in a local Aldi shop.
