About 10 days ago I took some flower blossom photos and after reviewing them on my laptop, I regret it not taking more photos. Pink is not really my world, but as I said earlier it is ok when it comes to flowers. A light pink can be actually enjoyable.
Saturday the weather looked nice, so I thought it was a good time to go back and try to take some more photos. The truth is, these trees are almost everywhere, they are not rare, but that does not men you can take photos of them everywhere. These trees usually are along the road, on the sidewalk and this is why the lower branches are cut down so people can walk under them without getting hurt. Because of this, the nearest branch that you could take some photos of is so high you can't get to them.
This place I went to is an exception as it's in a park and it was spared of human barbarism. The branches are left as mother nature created them, so I could go closer to take some decent photos.
With this in mind and a big smile on my face I went there, hoping to get the same scene as last time. When I got there, What happened was I got a huge slap on my face. Why? Because the tree was there of course, but the buds were all open and almost none was left for me to photograph.
Nothing to be worried about as you can always adjust your goals and do what you can under the given circumstances. I used to say there's no such thing as bad weather, you just need to adjust your focus. Saturday we had a beautiful weather, warm, with a nice blue sky, so here it is what I did.
These are not buds, but open flowers, but still have their own beauty.
And finally the day has come, when I don't have to edit my photos.
While I was taking these photos, I tried to decide on whether I like these fully open flowers more, or the buds. It's not a secret that I have a thing for buds and most likely it's the buds I choose. The texture of the buds and the color is different, sometimes more interesting than an open flower.
I was wondering how much time we spend on editing and processing photos and how easy it would be if we would not have to do that.
With technology evolving like crazy, I suppose one day we're going to have built in apps that could process the photos on the spot and offer you automatically a few options, without asking.
We're not there yet, but today I was blessed with these photos that I did not need to edit.
