These are not real flowers... rather they are artificial flowers made of plastic or other materials placed in a pot for decorative purposes.
Lately, I've tried to look for real flowers to photograph but the more I looked, the less I saw. It seems that people have given up planting flowers in pots and have taken to planting vegetables and other things that could bear fruit.
And I think I can understand why...
because if you are low on space, then plant what you can eat.
However, while I was with Ryzen in school, I saw these beautiful and colorfull artificial flowers displayed on the side.
They immediately caught my eye.
I thought, why not photograph them?
I have been photographing real flowers before. Their freshness, softness, and color are breathtaking. But artificial flowers have their own charm too.
They can keep their color for a long time without having to water them every day. 😂
But they do require some maintenance. You will have to clean off the dust from time to time, like how this white lily needs some cleaning. Looking closer, you can see some dust on its petals. Haha
Then, there's this bright pink flower.
Its color was so outstanding that it stood out from the rest. It's the type of flower that makes your room colorful.
This yellow and white daisy helped balance out all the colors. Its soft colors made it seem more happy and less violent to the eyes.
And when I took closer shots, well, the more obvious it was that it was not real. The texture isn't real like a real flower's.
But it did look nice from afar.
I had fun photographing them. Hope you guys did as well.
But next time, let's hope I find a real one. Haha
