关于印度，网上有很多介绍了，一个文明古国，一个大国。我从2007年开始第一次踏上印度，到现在也有10年了。在中国的媒体上很多关于印度的介绍都是重点介绍他们的落后的基础设施，以及一些奇怪的习俗，但是作为一个有13亿人口的经济体，它肯定是一个多面的存在，不可能从一个方面了解它的全部。这次我来印度出差一周，就把这一周的记录展现给各位，希望大家能从不同的侧面看到印度的真实一面。
On India, there are many online introduction, a civilized country, a big country. I have been on India for the first time since 2007 and have been here for 10 years. A lot of introductions about India in the media of China are focused on their backward infrastructure, as well as some strange customs, but as an economy with a population of 1.3 billion, it must be a multi-faceted existence, To understand it all. This time I came to India a week off, put what I saw to show you, hope that we can see from different aspects of the true side of India.
抵达(Arrival)
2017年9月17日，从香港机场出发：
Started from HongKong airport, on 17th September 2017.
来到印度，感觉好熟悉，虽然近十年一直不断来印度，但是这是第一次想到记录一下自己在印度的所见所闻。
抵达印度，入境大厅非常的印度特色，让人一看就知道这是India. 印度机场大概是在2008/09年修好的，感觉还是不错的。
Came to India, feel so familiar, although nearly a decade has been to India, but this is the first time I think of the record in India for what I'd seen and heard.
Arrived in India, the entrance hall is very Indian characteristics, let a person know that this is India. This new India airport is probably built in 2008/09, not bad.
出了机场，当然是打个车，也附张图片。到我住的地方大概20分钟，价格嘛，500多卢比，大概50人民币左右。
Out of the airport, of course, book a car, here is the picture. To my apartment is about 20 minutes, the price is little more than 500 rupees, equals about 5 USD.
路上见到了俺们的品牌。其实Vivo/Oppo/Huawei/Xiaomi在这里都很受欢迎，知名度非常高，可以直接和三星，苹果比知名度了。
On the road, I saw the Chinese Brand. Actually, for mobilephone brand, Vivo/Oppo/Huawei/Xiaomi are popular in India, almost the same level like Samsung & Apple.
我住的地方到了，这次我是住一个中国朋友的宿舍。在一个小区里面，这个小区还行吧，名字叫做Raheja Atlantis. 算是中上的小区了，该有的设施都有了。
Now I arrived, this time I was living in a Chinese friend's apartment. This society is quite good, the name is called Raheja Atlantis. Be in the society, where with almost all facilities.
进门有一片草地，小朋友们喜欢在这里踢足球。
There is a green grass land, kids like to play football here.
印度的地盘，还是要有印度的风味。
You can feel the India element.

到晚上了，回宿舍，遇到了这个可爱的小伙子，很腼腆。印度小朋友都有一个特点，眼睛很大，很漂亮。
When I came back apartment, in the lift, met this lovely boy, quiet & gentle. Looks like all indian kids with big eyes. Good looking.
在小区的生活嘛，还算是可以的，购物也很方便，想散散步运动都有地方。他们还有健身房，重点是健身房是对所有住客免费的。
To living this society, generally speaking, is very convenient. You can buy things easily, and also you can have a walk in it. And Gym room is available & free.
商业区 (Commercial district)
第二天，约了朋友吃饭，是一个商业区休闲区，我一下实在想不起名字了。里面很多餐厅，咖啡厅，是个和朋友聚会的好地方。也和国内的差不多吧。
The other day, I have a meeting with a old friend in the commercial district, just sorry that I forgot the name of it. In this place, there are many good restaurants, cafes. It's a good place for meetup.
印度人民还是很喜欢咖啡的，我们累了也来到星巴克享受一下休闲时光。
Indian people all like coffee, so, we also enter the Starbuck and relax for mins.
印度的星巴克还是挺好的，价格比较亲民，和国内相比大概是打6-7折吧。
Prices are sweet here, compare to China, should be around 30-40% off.
这次来印度当然目的还是一样，过来谈生意，大家看看我客户公司的内部情况吧。
在阳台的长桌上沟通工作问题，当然我们也喜欢到这里喝杯咖啡或者红茶，聊聊天。
I came India always for business, this time is the same purpose, so, let me take you to take a look the India company.
Here is in a balcony, there is long wood table, people like to come here to communicate with issue during work, and sometime also just take a cup of tea or coffee to talk.
这里很多都是5年-10年的朋友了，一起合作很愉快。我遇到的问题大家都会尽力帮我解决。
Many old friends in this company, most of them we knew each other for more than 5 years. So, if there is some problem, they always try best to help me solve.

Part of the city at night.
这个城市并不是新德里，而是古尔冈，一个类似于深圳这样的新兴的城市，很多科技企业都选择在这里落户。所以也聚集了很多白领。
The city name is Gurgaon, not New Delhi. Gurgaon is new and high tech city, just like Shenzhen in China. Many famous technology companies and financing companies located here.
食物与居家(Food & House)
对于印度餐，我相信很多人都在中国尝试过，但是真实的印度朋友平时工作餐吃什么？自家便当吃的什么？还有土豪家又是吃啥？走，让我带你去看看。
For the Indian meal, I believe that many people have tried in China, but do you know what they eat at lunch in office? What's the home cook food? What will the rich people eat in dinner? Go and let me take you to see.
下图，左边是我自己在客户餐厅点的工作餐，右边是我朋友太太给他带的便当食物。其实，非常接近，味道品相，还有内容都差不多。印度人吃东西其实很简单，每个人每天吃的东西都差不多，祖祖辈辈都是这么吃的，相比来讲，中国人对吃可是非常将就和多花样的。怪不得全世界中餐都是那么受欢迎。品种多，吃法多。还得补充一句，我们中国说的印度飞饼应该是不存在的，印度吃得最多的是图中的Japathi，另外就是馕，但是馕做法比较难，一般只有餐厅才点得到。
The below photos, left hand side is which I ordered in the office dining room; the right hand side is the home cook lunched my friend's wife made for him. You can find that, there are not so much difference. The fact is Indian people eat quite simple, as their food is almost same everyday(of course, this is compare to Chinese food), this simple rule runs for thousands of years. You can see the cake-like thing, that's very famous and typical indian food: Japathi.
关于食物， 后面会陆续介绍，下面这种小包装的食物在印度非常流行。大街小巷都有得买，类似于方便面。但是又不一样，就是用米线炸，再配上各种口味。当然，不能少的是咖喱。
About the food, will be introduced more later. The following small package of food in India is very popular. You can easily to buy on the street's shops, similar to instant noodles. But not the same, that is, with rice noodles fried, matched with a variety of tastes. Of course, with curry.
我的爱好是区块链，这次也遇到了几个印度的爱好者，决定晚上去一起去他们宿舍喝点酒。我们来参观下这个单身小伙的住得咋样。（他们两个都属于中等收入的年轻人吧，一个白领，一个自己做商品分销生意）
I'm a blockchain fan, so, this time gather with some indian local fans, hang out together for drinking. So, we also can take a look how the bachelors' living situation. (These two young guys are white-collar, income is not bad)

我一直对印度朋友吐槽的地方：一般都是10点才开始晚饭。传说中的手抓饭，呵呵，这是别人的习惯。顺便说一句，如果朋友们下次想尝试印度菜，一定要试试咖喱羊肉，因为咖喱配羊肉真实绝配。
Till 10pm, we started the dinner. Actually, this is very bad habit for all Indian people, to eat too late!
Yes, all Indian people like to use hand to eat, the true is, I also got use to it now.
By the way, if you next time want to try Indian food, pls remember to try the curry lamb. Very nice!
在印度，我有一个非常要好的朋友，我们认识了10年，每次来印度都会拜访他，这次当然不能例外。我们也看看我这个土豪朋友的家。他住新德里，GK II, 这个基本上新德里最贵的地方之一了。这里的住客全是独立洋房，当然，巡逻的警察是必须要有的。
After the bachelor's apartment, let's to see how the rich people eat.
In India, I have a very good friend, we knew for 10 years, each time to India I will visit him, this time is also not an exception. He lives in New Delhi, GK II, which is basically one of the most expensive places in New Delhi. Where the guests are all independent houses, of course, patrol the police must have.
左边图是一进门停在院子里的车，右边是自家的小院。朋友对我说，今年生意好，他又买了两辆车，所以自己院子里停了三辆，外面还停着五辆，好吧，总共八辆车。
这个朋友的故事可谓励志，5年前自己出来自己开创物流公司。之前几年都一般，不过最近两年发展迅猛，这次居然说2020年计划上市了。我真是目瞪口呆，赶紧琢磨下投资原始股。😄
Enter the gate, you can see three cars parked inside, the right hand side photo is for the forecourt. My friend told me, as these two years business is good, he bought new cars. So, in house 3 cars, on road side parked another 5 cars. Total 8 cars. Anyway, looks like enough....
My friend's story is quite inspirational. He started his logistics company five years ago, at the beginning it's not very good, but this time, he told me he is planning to be on listed. Pleased surprise! I am pushing to buy some initial stock. haha!!!
这是朋友家三个接待室的其中一个，每次我们都会在这里聊天hang out, 因为这里最舒服。你看到图中的那个柜子是酒柜，里面摆满了Whisky.
The house has 3 living room, this is one of them. In fact, we hang out here all the time. You can find there is a cabinet, where is full of Whisky.
印度人的习惯是，晚餐前都会和朋友吃些零食和喝些Whisky，大家可以一起聊天开玩笑。说实在，印度朋友间的亲密度还是比较高的，一般的风格都是大家会谈得很愉快，见面握手或者拥抱。
Indian people like to take some snack & Whisky before dinner.
聊了一个多小时，说实在我都已经没啥胃口了，这时候已经接近10点，然后开始上......餐前开胃菜。说实在，我真的有点晕。左边图片就是开胃菜，包括：土豆泥和玉米粒做的油炸的食物，还有奶白色的汤，以及一些蔬菜做的沙律。右图是用芝士配蔬菜煎的食物，挺美味的。（朋友是高等级种姓的，姓Jain，属于Jainist，都是素食者）。其实印度有一点挺特别的，上层社会吃素的多，只有穷人才吃荤。按照我的朋友Jain的说法，他们家连鸡蛋都不吃，并且闻到荤的味道就感觉恶心。而且在印度另外一个特点就是高等级的姓，基本都是老板，比如我见过的只要姓Gupta, Agawal, Jain, Kumar, Singh这些，基本都是成功或高薪人士。
We talked around 1 hour, actually, as the snack & whisky, I'm already no appetite for dinner. But once reach 10pm, I'm informed the dinner started. Firstly, is starter, including salad, soup & one kind of snack. And, all are vegetarian food. There is quite special point in India, most of the vegetarian is rich level people. Another special thing is: point of view of vegetarian, non-veget food is smelly.
接着上菜，黄色的是土豆丸子+咖喱，另外的小碗里的是秋葵+咖喱，这是家常菜。
Next food come: the yellow one is made of potato & curry, another one is okra & curry. And all are usual home cooking.
小商贩(Petty Dealer)
我觉得每个国家的路边小商贩最能代表这个国家的特色，这里就分享一些图片让你有个直观的了解。左边是卖包装好的商品，右边的是卖现做的食品。
I think every country's roadside petty dealer can best represent the characteristics of this country, here to share some pictures so you have an intuitive understanding.

左边：穿着传统纱丽的小保姆； 右边：机场的工作人员。当然，并不是说只有穷人才传纱丽，其实所有印度女人都会穿纱丽，只是我这次素材准备得不足。

总结(Summary)
印度有平民窟，也有高素质的软件人员；印度的基础设施非常糟糕，但是也有规划很好的高档酒店区。其实就如美国，虽然是超级大国，但是一样有不少乞丐。我只想把我这次出差所接触到的信息转达给你。
印度肯定不只是这样，它还有极度平困的平民，还有奢侈的婚宴；有漂亮的庙堂，还有有趣的新都排灯节(Diwali）......所有这些我都经历过，如果这篇文章反应不错，我以后会陆续将这些素材整理成文，分享给大家。谢谢你的阅读。
As a big country, India has many different impression to people. They have slum, but also have excellent IT engineers; Their city infrastructure is not good, but they also develop very fast.
