RE: Are you happy with your life story?
Carlin was truly a national treasure! I wonder what his IQ was? I'd guess it was pretty high. After experiencing more than five decades on this rock I can honestly say a majority of people aren't really

Thanks @bozz. I feel like a project manager again juggling all these contractors. I'll definitely do a more in-depth post as I gain more experience with the Ninja. I can't wait to try pizza on it. There's

RE: Are we bullish enough?
Soon the public will begin to appreciate the utility of the blockchain and not just the novelty and potential of cryptocurrency. If I were to guess on a timeline I'd say 3-5 years, as AI is really being

That's exactly what I was thinking of when I wrote it—how every dawn is a clean slate. I hope to always keep at least a sliver of optimism/enthusiasm at sunrise of the potential that something amazing

RE: AND THEN, THE DAWN
Thanks! Yeah, the duality (light/darkness) pretty much defines Earthly life. We can't have one without the other. Some of our best lessons are found in the darkness.

RE: AND THEN, THE DAWN
I actually save words and phrases that peak my interest throughout the day in my Notes app on my phone and I use these to weave into poems later. This phrase fit into that category. : )

RE: We're all trying to fix things
I'd bet it's a variety of factors—more screen time, world-events like the pandemic, less alcohol consumption, culture shifts, etc. You're welcome! It's a remake of an early 80's Alan Alda film but there

RE: SUNDAY MEDITATION SERIES (#10) - Where Are My Interests and Curiosities Leading Me Today?
It does seem odd but I think there was a wave of immigration from Europe to South America in the 1800's. I'm not sure if this is where the Amish communities there originated or not though. I had to look

I never factored ineffective communication into the population collapse crisis but it makes total sense! My wife and I have been watching Four Seasons on Netflix and one of the middle-aged male characters

I'm glad to hear that! I find I'm definitely happiest when I can incorporate the things that bring me joy. It just makes it feel like I'm living on the proper frequency and things seem more effortless.

I'm so happy that this little bit of serendipity raised your spirits on your birthday, Lizelle! The pie looks amazing. My birthday is just around the corner now—54 this year!

You got in there at just the right time by the sound of it. There's lots of opportunity during those times of transition. I sometimes wish the vibe of city neighborhoods could be more static but they

Thanks for the words of encouragement! It's been interesting to say the least. We've had things go wrong before with other properties but never to this extent. So far it's been—the furnace/AC, hot water

I can't believe it either. I still think about him every day, but in some ways it seems he's been gone forever. Yes, life has been a whirlwind lately. So much has gone wrong with the house. We're trying

AI is a slippery slope. Even most email platforms have AI assistants that do more than just check spelling/grammar embedded. Also, as you've mentioned, the tools that help identify AI-generated writing

RE: SUNDAY MEDITATION SERIES (#10) - Where Are My Interests and Curiosities Leading Me Today?
It led me to write this post and get a poem started yesterday. The creation process for me is very much about sitting with/developing ideas that spark my enthusiasm.
