Thanks for the words of encouragement! It's been interesting to say the least. We've had things go wrong before with other properties but never to this extent. So far it's been—the furnace/AC, hot water heater, washer/dryer, chimney failure, and a bathroom water leak. I think it's just a case of timing. The house is going on thirty years old and that's around the time a lot of things fail.

A social club, huh?! That must've been NYC. I bet that was frightening! That's the kind of stuff we were dealing with at the condo before we moved out here. I'll take the home-related issues over shootings and drug addicts any day of the week. : )
