Muchas cosas pueden inspirarnos, muchas cosas que vemos, que son parte de la cotidianidad y luego lo unimos en una sola imagen como si se tratara de un collage.

Desde que llegué a mi nueva casa he adoptado muchos gatos, he contado y van 7, nunca vi tantos, amo a los gatos pero soy alérgica a ellos, me intoxican si los toco mi cara se inflama como la Venus Azteca, lo bueno de estos animalitos es que respetan, no pasan dentro de mi casa, se quedan en la puerta esperando que les dé comida, una de ellas es la más apegada a mí, tengo un perrito, es de raza Pincer, no le agradan los gatos y siempre está peleando desde dentro de la casa con ellos, él evita que entren también, pero sí ha pasado que de noche han entrado y luego debo tomar antialérgicos, me doy cuenta enseguida.

La gatita de mi hijo tuvo tres lindos gatitos en su casa y me los mostró en fotos, son demasiado adorables y lindos, quería recrear un lindo felino.

Esta mañana aun dormida me dolían mucho los ojos, pero mucho y eso me despertó, una luz muy fuerte entraba por la ventana y sentí me quemaba los ojos, cuando los abrí me di cuenta que era el sol. Así que quise recrear el efecto de luz de ventana como un desafío, confieso que me gustó.

Lo curioso es que cuando comencé a trazar el boceto me dije, lo haré muy sencillo, al estilo kawaii sin aerografía y terminé usándola porque sencillamente no pude ser sencilla, no supe, terminar el dibujo me llevó muchas pero muchas horas. Lo bueno de todo es que recreé lo que quería y me siento satisfecha.

Many things can inspire us, many things that we see, that are part of everyday life and then we put them together in a single image as if it were a collage.

Since I arrived to my new house I have adopted many cats, I have counted and there are 7, I have never seen so many, I love cats but I am allergic to them, they intoxicate me if I touch them my face swells like the Aztec Venus, the good thing about these little animals is that they respect, they don't go inside my house, they stay at the door waiting for me to give them food, One of them is the most attached to me, I have a little dog, he is a Pincer breed, he does not like cats and he is always fighting from inside the house with them, he avoids them to enter too, but it has happened that at night they have entered and then I have to take anti-allergic, I realize it right away.

My son's kitty had three cute kittens in her house and showed them to me in pictures, they are too adorable and cute, I wanted to recreate a cute feline.

This morning while I was still asleep my eyes hurt a lot, but a lot and that woke me up, a very strong light was coming through the window and I felt it was burning my eyes, when I opened them I realized it was the sun. So I wanted to recreate the window light effect as a challenge, I confess I liked it.

The funny thing is that when I started to draw the sketch I said to myself, I will do it very simple, kawaii style without airbrushing and I ended up using it because I simply could not be simple, I did not know how, it took me many, many hours to finish the drawing. The good thing is that I recreated what I wanted and I feel satisfied.

Step 1️⃣/ Paso 1️⃣

Estoy buscando un pincel que usaba antes para hacer bocetos, hacía el trazo muy suave, ya no puedo recordar cuál era, cuando hice el boceto lo que hacía de gato me parecía mas bien un castor, la cola me fue algo difícil.

Aplico el color base.

Aplico los detalles del fondo. Para lograr el efecto, hice la parte de arriba del efecto de luz con un cuadrado luego pasé el borrador en formas rectas horizontales y verticales de diferente grosor, usé la herramienta ajuste entrecruzado. Luego pasé el pincel borroso por las orillas.

Copié la pieza, la invertí colocándola abajó, no importa si no se ve simétrico o si la línea no continúa, se trata de un reflejo de luz donde los barrotes de un enrejado de ventana hacen la sombra. Para finalizar apliqué pulverización en un tono oscuro.

I'm looking for a brush that I used before to make sketches, it made the stroke very soft, I can't remember what it was, when I made the sketch what I did as a cat looked more like a beaver, the tail was a little difficult for me.

I apply the base color.

I apply the background details. To achieve the effect, I made the top part of the light effect with a square then I passed the eraser in straight horizontal and vertical shapes of different thickness, I used the criss-cross adjustment tool. Then I ran the blur brush along the edges.

I copied the piece, inverted it by placing it down, it doesn't matter if it doesn't look symmetrical or if the line doesn't continue, it is a reflection of light where the bars of a window trellis make the shadow. To finish I applied spray in a dark tone.

Continúo con los detalles del cabello, apliqué aerografía y las hebras con mi pincel personalizado pelo en degradado de color.

El sombreado de la chaqueta fue realizado en aerografía en degradado del color.

El mismo efecto de sombreado lo apliqué en la camisa, el short también hice el estampado con el pincel aerógrafo.

I continue with the details of the hair, I applied airbrush and the strands with my custom hair brush in color gradient.

The shading of the jacket was done in airbrush in color gradient.

The same shading effect I applied on the shirt, the shorts I also made the print with the airbrush brush.

Step 3️⃣/ paso 3️⃣

Aplico la técnica que hago cuando dibujo personajes furry, es la misma técnica que aplico cuando hago cabello, solo uso aerografía y pincel pelo. Comencé con la cara para ver si quedaba bien seguía pareciendo un castor en vez de un gato.

Al ver que quedó bien repetí el procedimiento con el resto del cuerpo.

I apply the technique I do when I draw furry characters, it's the same technique I apply when I do hair, I just use airbrush and hair brush. I started with the face to see if it looked good, it still looked like a beaver instead of a cat.

When I saw that it looked good I repeated the procedure with the rest of the body.

Step 4️⃣/ paso 4️⃣

Aplico los detalles de los ojos y cara del gatito estilo kawaii.

Dibujé un banquito donde descansa el felino, solo usé aerografía y degradado de color para sombreado y luz.

Aplico la base de los ojos, cejas, labios y nariz para proceder con el sombreado de la cara.

Pude burlarme de mí misma cuando vi que no pude hacer un simple sombreado que pudo haber quedado más prolijo. Tal vez tenía ganas de complicarme la existencia.

Para culminar, casi siempre dejo los ojos para el final. Aplico el estilo kawaii para los ojos y labios, con ello concluí el diseño, espero que les guste.

I apply the details of the eyes and face of the kitten kawaii style.

I drew a little bench where the feline rests, I only used airbrush and color gradient for shading and light.

I apply the base of the eyes, eyebrows, lips and nose to proceed with the shading of the face.

I could make fun of myself when I saw that I couldn't do a simple shading that could have been neater. Maybe I was in the mood to complicate my existence.

To top it off, I almost always save the eyes for last. I apply the kawaii style for the eyes and lips, with that I concluded the design, I hope you like it.
