Podcaster since 2005

Like the title of this post states, I've been podcasting since 2005. That was way back in the beginning days of podcasting. When just a few early-adopter geeks knew what podcasting was and were actually doing it.

Fast forward to today and just about everyone in the online connected world knows about podcasting. As a matter of fact podcasting is now so mainstream it's an actual industry.

What do I podcast about? Oh must about anything that interests me. In 2005 it was a show called the MorningBrewCast. My sister and I talked about coffee while drinking coffee and had a whole lot of laughs along the way. Since then I've done tech podcasts (Tech in Twenty) with a co-host and soooo many of my own podcasts on various topics which have come and gone.

These days I host the following podcasts:
WalkTalkChallenge: Interviews with women entrepreneurs, women of Web3, and AI about their business goals and challenges WHILE walking. So listeners will hear birds chirping, dogs barking, cars, sirens, and just about any kind of ambient sounds one would hear while on a walk in your neighborhood or local park.

Social Media and the Blockchain:
Season 1 was created for NaPodPoMo and was my test of the Aureal podcast dApp. I was blown away and have never looked back.
Season 2 has begun, but is in a production hiatus until the summer. You can listen to the trailer along with episodes one and two here.

I also have a show with @shainemata called the Crypto Content Creators which completed the initial run in late 2021. You can find out more info on chain by visiting @cryptoccshow. Shaine and I keep threatening to bring this show back and have recorded a few episodes which have yet to see the light of day. Stay tuned on this one because things are simmering.

So as you can see one of the things I do is podcast. That's not all I do in the podcasting space, but it is the one thing that propelled me forward into what is now my career as a podcast producer. I'll talk about that in tomorrow's #NationalPhotographyMonth post.
