This morning my youngest son said he wasn't intereted in breakfast, but was going to make lunch instead. Which sounded good to me. I was more than happy to step out of the kitchen and let him work his magic. While he cooked we chatted about current events, spiritial aha moments, and just general family conversation during meal proep.

As the aroma of the ground meat and green beans he was cooking began to waft towards the living room where I was drinking coffee an idea popped in my head. You know what would go well with what he was cooking? Mashed potatoes!

I menteioned it to my son and he liked the idea. So I jumped up, went into the kitchen, and whipped up a batch of mashed potatoes. The combination turned out so well. To complete the meal I added some hot sauce. He opted for jalapeno slices. Either way this was a satisfying and filling meal.
