So today is hump day. I love humping. It's also Wednesday and a good day for a walk. So much so, that an old friend of mine, @tattoodjay, created a special tag for it before Hive was born called - #wednesdaywalk. Here's what I saw walking around!

A leopard frog! Ain't he cute? He was just chilling there all like thinking he was camouflaged, waiting to hump something. Or maybe he was just warming his little brittle bones in the sun waiting to hump something? Either way, he and I think alike.

As I pondered how froggy I was feeling, I felt eyes on me. It took a minute, but I espied the concealed jealousy. 'Twas another hump fan, the Mantis. But she, she was crushing on me hard and trying not to be noticed.

Once she realized her hiding spot was compromised, she unveiled the truth and begged for me to show mercy. She must have had a bad experience earlier in her life because I, I would not lift a hand to harm such a beauty.

She also knew much about me and offered to pose a bit in all her sexy green glory for my eager eyes. I humbly captured the many forms of the Southern Praying Mantis and carry them with me now.

Surely, you can see that they made my walk quite pleasant. Breathing life with other living beings that love a few of my passions? The notion grounds me and gives me a sense of connection to things greater and lesser. Reminds me, I am. Also, REMEMBER TO BE YOU! I always am, even when I'm not😎
