Bitcoin is currently sitting around $35k as we move closer into a 'bear market'. The entire atmosphere from many crypto investors is quite depressing and although the 'crypto is dead' naysayers don't seem to have come out yet, there are already those who are 'regretting their investment'.
Having seasonal experience with crypto is a blessing for quite a number of reasons, the most important being that it helps tp put things in perspective. We might be experiencing a downturn now, but that in itself is relative. If you are comparing from our positions last year most currencies are still up by significant margins.
I remember the first time Bitcoin started getting mainstream recognition and how the value then paled in comparison to now. But even beyond the price value, there has been a gradual but general acceptance of crypto over the years that have more or less killed the idea of a complete price crash. We know for a fact that the bears are only temporary and there are those who have positioned themselves to buy at a certain price when it drops.
Our beloved Hive has not been spared, unlike the last price dip last year when it maintained relative stability. There are many ways one can interpret this but the reaction should be more or less the same - continue to build and grow. I have no doubt at this point that Hive doesn't rank amongst the list of 'dead cryptocurrencies' that struggle to rise after facing decline.
Therefore it makes sense to build when a rebound is inevitable. As a matter of fact, bears are actually the most convenient periods to properly position. From Hive those who have managed phenomenal growth have been those who have taken advantage of the bears and changes in our system. So far they have all been rewarded.
A year from now the story might be very different. We might be talking about new all time highs and so on. Price is irrelevant at this stage, even more so when you are considering just how much the space has progressed over the last couple of years. Only the ungrateful and myopic would fret from this run, even if we dip further. There are still more blessings to come from the crypto space.
