For too long poverty has had me sitting in a tight corner. Well, am not exactly poor, but it can feel that way with the level of financial obligations I sometimes have to meet that have left me frustrated more than once. I have always sought a better lifestyle, or at least that is what I thought.
Since I started blogging consistently on Hive at the middle of the year there might not have been a drastic change in my financial status (even though there have been noticeable changes),but one area that has witnessed a significant change has been my perspective on the difficulty involved in the creation of wealth.
To change one's financial status isn't impossible from what I can clearly gather. While there are obvious challenges accrued to doing so, the process itself is quite cut out and clearly defined for those interested to follow: delay gratification, stay consistent and develop your skillsets.
While it seems straightforward on paper, it is actually one of the hardest things to do especially if there are no immediate incentives to do so. Even a place like Hive with the obvious incentives to participate, I sometimes would rather not put in the effort for a decent article and simply relax. It is difficult to remain consistent, but incentivizing ourselves helps along that line.
Crypto has also modified that plan a bit, and I spoke about amplification in one of my previous articles. Unlike the conventional system where developing skillsets usually meant doing so in the four corners of a classroom, or with padding degrees, blockchain development (and generally our new era) is allowing for a more flexible approach to improving skillsets.
I am especially awed by the rapidity of it all in terms of how things can change. Conventionally, even the tested steps to success do not guarantee same and might take between a very long time and never to materialize. Crypto has really changed all that, so much that in the twinkle of an eye entire status are completely transformed from the creation of opportunities previously inaccessible to us.
2022 is a few weeks away and I do feel like I could make significant strides in terms of my financial situation next year, with crypto a big part of that plan one way or another. I don't think we fully can appreciate just how much the blockchain is changing lives at the individual level until you ask yourself 'what if I didn't get into crypto?'
For me, if I had not re-fired my passion for Hive it would have been just another year gone by. Hive has enabled me the priviledge of having options and deepening my investments. Perhaps by year end I would have time to really reflect and write about this in a more robust article.
Next year I hope to go all in on the Hive chain (especially with leofinance), and keep developing with the unique incentives crypto has provided for financial liberty.
