Greetings, my dear and cherished friends. I hope you’ve all had a wonderful week. I wanted to let you know that after those medical appointments I mentioned in other posts, I was really looking forward to coming home to see my kids. And even though things didn’t go exactly as I’d imagined, I believe God’s timing is perfect and He knows what He’s doing.
For my part, my faith remains unshaken, and now it’s time for us to run some errands on the island to seek answers and continue with my treatment.
Even though the trip from Puerto La Cruz to Margarita takes 5 hours, those hours felt like an eternity to me. From the moment I boarded the ferry, I couldn’t wait to be on the island.
I kept looking out the window every few moments to see if I could spot my island in the distance, and when I finally saw it so close, I felt an enormous joy. My brother-in-law was already waiting there to take us home—a one-hour drive.
