Literalmente, ya estoy contando los días para que lleguen para descansar, aunque extrañamente quiero ir al festival playero que se hará aquí en la isla de Margarita, así que ya veremos.
Hoy paso por aquí a compartirles otros lazitos que realicé debido a que tengo bastante cinta y pinzitas, que hace tiempo le estaba haciendo los lazos a Jade y no se los terminaba de hacer en toda mi apuración de la universidad. Para esto, necesitas pega Merletto, hilo, aguja, las pinzitas y cintas de tu preferencia, así como también un yesquero para quemar las puntas.

Thank goodness, things are going very well here; I’m just waiting for tomorrow to be over so I can finally enjoy those four well-deserved days off, ha ha ha. I’m literally counting down the days until they arrive so I can rest, although strangely enough I’d like to go to the beach festival taking place here on Margarita Island, so we’ll see.
I’m popping in today to share some more little bows I’ve made, as I’ve got plenty of ribbon and hair clips. I’d been making these bows for Jade for a while but never quite finished them with all the stress of university. For this, you’ll need Merletto glue, thread, a needle, the hair clips and ribbons of your choice, as well as a lighter to singe the ends.
Inicie cortando cuatro tiras iguales en proporción, siempre a la pinzita, midiendo, ya que haremos un lazo tipo mariposa; deben ser una más pequeña que la otra.
Start by cutting four strips of equal size, using the hair clip as a guide and measuring carefully, as we’re going to make a bow tie; one of them should be slightly smaller than the others.
Los fijaremos de la siguiente manera para que estos no se muevan y podamos unirlos muy facilmente.
We’ll secure them as follows so that they don’t move and we can join them together very easily.
Una vez que tengamos bien fija ambas partes, vamos a coser y apretar por la parte de la unión para que vaya tomando la forma tipo mariposa.
Once both pieces are securely fastened, we’ll sew and pull tight along the seam so that it starts to take on a butterfly shape.
Tomen en cuenta que hay que dejarlos bien unidos para que quede la forma de la mariposa y una vez que tenemos ambos procedemos a unirlos por el centro para sujetar ambas partes.
Please note that you need to make sure they are firmly joined together so that the butterfly shape is retained; once you have both pieces, join them in the centre to secure them.
Las pinzitas las decore con cinta rosada y de la siguiente manera con punteaguda y a la pinza le pegue por dentro la cinta finita que es la que sujetara el lazo para luego proceder a colocar el lazo.
I decorated the hair clips with pink ribbon as follows: I used a pointed tip to attach the thin ribbon to the inside of the clip – this is what will hold the bow in place – and then proceeded to attach the bow.
Una vez que le damos la vuelta fijamos por dentro del lazo y asi de lindos queda, practicos para las personas que tienen niñas en casa o en mi caso con mi niña perruna jajajajaja ¡Saludos!
Once you've turned it inside out, secure it inside the loop – it looks lovely like this, and it's really handy for people with little girls at home, or in my case, with my little doggy girl, ha ha ha ha! Cheers!
