Not much really. We have been navigating the pandemic from our privileged tiny little castle. For those who do not know us, we are a couple of foodies from Mexico City and we love to travel, eat and discover new things. The only new thing in our lives is that we have been walking a lot in our city.
We used to be very active bloggers on Steemit but then it became very complicated for us to maintain the blog. The main reason is we don’t have the time. And that’s why we migrated to Appics, an interesting project that helps us to share images and short post from our phone. That app gave us the ability to post live from our phones into the blockchain. First it let us post to Steemit and then into hive.
Now that app is on hold and I hope it will be back really soon. But anyway Appics wasn’t very popular here and also short post with a single picture didn’t get the rewards they deserve and many other things that drove us a little bit away of the blockchain. But mainly it was the time.
Time I decided to spend with my family and maybe watching a lot of TV. If you followed us, you might know that we got married and we broadcasted it in the blockchain by sharing some pics of the wedding and some other from the honey moon (none of them NSFW ha ha ha).
I really miss writing, sometimes I feel like it is my therapy. And something I also really really miss, is the community. It was very special to engage with lots of people from all over the world and see what’s new with them, supporting their projects, dreams or just saying hi to a stranger.
We began by just sharing food posts, then some travel posts and then we got really engaged with many projects of the community. I was really involved with OCD and I am (or was, I’m afraid to ask) and OCD curator. I haven’t been active for a while but it was a very rewarding role.
I’ve been trying to write this post for a couple of weeks now and it’s very hard. I don’t know why. I guess I’m just nervous that nobody reads this ha ha ha!
I have some posts in mind that I want to share with all of you. Obviously some of food, not so many if travel and some of DIY, since I’ve been decorating our apartment and doing some other stuff by myself.
Maybe it’s time to end and search for some pics to illustrate the post. And if I’m trying to say anything maybe is just that I’m trying to get back and I’m glad you are all here.
See you next time.
