Well, apparently our calling the county and Jan also calling the county, got the road crew up our road with 2 plow trucks to get people access. Hallelujah! 😇
It’s still pretty cold here with a lot of snow on the ground, but since today was a holiday from work, who cares? 😎 We went for an afternoon snow hike and instead of going up to the off grid cabin, we opted to hike the steep and curvy mile long ( or more) driveway of Keith and Lynne. Tire tracks made for easier snow hiking but suffice it to say that any kind of snow hiking, whether in boots or snowshoes, is more strenuous than traditional hiking.
It was really pretty and serene. You had nothing much breaking the silence.
I was glad we left to hike but was also glad to be home by the wood stove. As you can see, Cot was roasting his kitty buns, lol! 😻
Even with all his fur, Cot appreciates the heat from the stove!
