MERRY CHRISTMAS!! ☃️
Today was an awesome day! First off, to update those who might want to know; Phoenix, my son’s dog who got into the rat poison the town home maintenance folks put out, came back late last night from the emergency vet. They had given her and IV to make her vomit and took a blood draw. They sent her home with vitamin K pills to take for the next 3 weeks, and then she has to go to her vet for another blood workup to make sure things are functioning okay. They believe, as do I, that she will be fine! Such a relief for all of us!
We enjoyed breakfast with Bill and Agi, and then shortly thereafter, set off for home. They needed some time together before Bill has to go back to work tomorrow. We had been there since Sunday afternoon. It was great to spend the time together.
And as usual, sitting in a car and driving home doesn’t leave much opportunity for any hiking, but I made the minimum, and for today that’s okay!
I hope everyone had a joyful Christmas! 2020 is just around the corner-my how time does fly.
