Hi guys!
It was off to church this morning early as we were leading. We picked Jan up and headed out.
We had a nice surprise just as we were getting started; Adam came to drum for us. I never quite know when he’s coming or if he’s coming as he does not communicate much. It’s nicer to have well rounded band. Mike, my husband and guitar player, wasn’t too sure about the second song that I had lined up for the congregation, but my discernment was true as we later found out that the song was very well received and worshipful.
After church, Jan and Jim had invited us to go to lunch with them to the Old Spaghetti Factory over in Abbotsford, British Columbia, Canada. We hadn’t been to the Old Spaghetti Factory since our son got married. It’s always been one of our favorite restaurants since we lived in Ohio. This proved to be just as delicious. The only change for me is that I could not do regular spaghetti, but they had gluten free options. Unfortunately, they did not for the bread that they serve. I had to do without.
The salad was good, the Manager’s Favorite was awesome, and of course, the Spumoni ice cream was delicious. Afterwards, we came home, changed shoes and headed out to hike. Now, I’m sure you know how hard that was after eating all that, but we all finished the hike! Needless to say, dinner will be a bit skimpy as we are both still pretty full.
Up at Towhee Ridge today.
