Once upon in Mid-October,
The wind tells of curious tales,
Of ghoul and goblins, it gently whispers,
A dreary lore that tasted stale.
One night while I was reading I've heard,
A tender tap at out of the front door,
It tapped again but spoke of no word,
Distracted, I looked out to see what for.
Just before my eyes it came,
Drained the breath of the brightest theme
Darkened the colors of hue
Ye just wait, it'll come to you too.
The light that shone brightly then
Was caught out in the in between
Darkened the shade of being you
And lost the life you hold, it's true.
Now look at me, I'm in heaven,
Look at me and I'll soar high,
I'll fly like a raven
But smile and laugh no more.
