Pedaling the city || Monomad

Hello black and white enthusiasts and everyone who likes (or needs) to pedal. This time I want to share with you some images taken in the city one morning. With these captures I want to make entry to the daily challenge #monomad. People riding bikes all over the city, people going to work, people exercising pedaling, people making home deliveries, in short people riding bikes. Wow, now I realize that's what this post is about, people on bikes and I don't have a single image of my friend @nanixxx and her bike, and it's a racing bike, the good kind, the kind that doesn't weigh anything. I can tell because I've ridden it up and down the 5 flights of stairs to my apartment on several occasions, great team, pro pro pro! Nani, I promise to do a post on professional cyclists, there you go!

I remember the Chinese bicycles that were distributed (sold) en masse to the people in the 90's to cushion the transportation situation, we had just entered one of the biggest economic crises in this country, besides the current one of course, and then there were no buses to go to work and no fuel either. The people alleviated the transportation situation a lot with those bicycles, which were also, I mean are very good because there are still some of them rolling around Havana. Pure iron, no plastic, they were really heavy! Nani, luckily yours is not one of those, hahaha...😂. Hola apasionados del banco y negro y a todo el que le guste (o necesite) pedalear. En está ocasión quiero compartir con ustedes algunas imágenes tomadas en la ciudad una mañana cualquiera. Con estas capturas quiero hacer entrada al reto diario #monomad. Gente en bici por toda la ciudad, gente yendo al trabajo, gente ejercitándose pedaleando, gente haciendo entregas a domicilio, en fin gente montada en bici. Wow, ahora me doy cuenta que este post va de eso, de gente en bici y no tengo una sola imagen de mi amiga @nanixxx y de su bici, y que además es de carreras, de las buenas, de las que no pesan. Me consta porque la he subido y bajado los 5 pisos hasta mi apartamento por las escaleras en varias ocasiones. ¡Tremendo equipo, pro pro! Nani, te prometo hacer un post sobre los ciclistas profesionales ¡ahí vas tú! Me acuerdo de las bicicletas chinas que repartieron (vendieron) en masa al pueblo por los años 90 para amortiguar un poco la situación del transporte, acabábamos de entrar en una de las mayores crisis económicas de este país, además de la de ahora claro, y entonces no habían ómnibus para ir al trabajo ni combustible tampoco. La gente alivió muchísimo la situación del transporte con esas bicicletas, que además eran, digo son buenísimas porque todavía hay algunas rodando por La Habana. Hierro puro, nada de plástico ¡Esas si pesaban! Nani, por suerte la tuya no es de esas, hahaha...😂.
