Yesterday I did a short test ride on my old steel-framed Peugeot bike, which I had repaired in July (the bike I took to France in 2015).
I easily reached 10,000 points for the first time, so I'll stop complaining about how cycling is rewarded. I didn't even wear my lycra gear yet.
There was a beach festival further along the road where I turned around, but I wasn't interested.
Since I stopped a few times to take pictures, I was happy with an average speed above 20 km/h. Next weekend will be sunny again, and I'm planning to go on a longer ride.
