When life starts getting worse, your mind can make it feel like everything is falling apart forever.
Family problems. People changing. Money being tight. Plans not working out. One bad situation can make you look at your entire life differently.
But remind yourself: this is a moment, not your whole life.
Things change. The situation you are struggling with today may look completely different months from now. The people causing you stress may not always have the same place in your life. Problems that feel impossible today can eventually become things you barely think about.
You have survived every bad day you have had so far. There were probably moments when you thought, “How am I going to get through this?” Yet you did.
So when things around you become chaotic, don’t let your mind convince you that your future will look exactly like your present.
Keep doing what you can control. Take care of yourself. Stay close to the things that give you peace. If you need to cry, cry. If you need to step away from people for a while, step away.
You don’t have to solve your entire life tonight.
Sometimes the strongest thing you can tell yourself is:
“This is hard right now, but it won’t always be like this.”
Life has seasons. Some are painful, some are peaceful, and some completely change you.
Whatever you are going through right now, give yourself enough time to see what happens next.
Don’t make permanent conclusions about your life because of a temporary situation.
