There will be moments when everything around you makes you question yourself. You may look at your situation and feel like you are not good enough, not ready enough, or simply not meant for what you want. Those thoughts can feel real, especially when things are not going your way.
But your current situation does not decide your future.
Believing in yourself does not mean pretending that everything is perfect. It means choosing not to give up on yourself because things are difficult right now. You can admit that you are struggling while still believing that you can overcome it.
Sometimes, you will have to believe in yourself before anyone else does. People may doubt you. Some may laugh at your goals. Others may remind you of your past mistakes. Listen to advice when it is useful, but do not let someone else’s opinion become the limit of your life.
Remember that progress is not always obvious. You might be working hard without seeing results immediately. That does not mean your effort is useless. Some things take time before they begin to show.
When you fail, learn from it. When you fall behind, start again. When you feel afraid, take the next step anyway.
You do not need to have your whole life figured out today. You only need enough courage to keep moving.
Your circumstances may be difficult, but they are not your identity. Your mistakes are not your identity. Your present situation is not a permanent description of who you will become.
So keep believing in yourself, especially on the days when it is hardest. There is still more in you than your current situation has allowed you to see.
Do not give up on yourself too early.
