After almost a week without posting anything about Brawls, I want to resume this topic to speed up my progress toward reaching 200,000 Merits so I can open 100 Gladius Cases. I currently have 124,161 Merits, which is over 50% of the goal roughly 64 Gladius Cases but still far from the target. It's time to dive back into battles to secure more Merits, since these brawls offer a handful of Merits in exchange for setting up a few quick teams under conditions slightly different from Wild Rankeds. Here is the breakdown of my battles in my latest Brawl:

Battle Vs Mylornapagod

In the first battle of this Brawl, we had a moderate mana cap of 45, allowing all elements except Dragon. There were 2 Rulesets, both restrictive in their own way: Odd Ones Out and Healed Out, which made healing units less useful and opened up space for other choices. I built a team focused on armor restoration to substitute for the lack of health recovery. I used Grandmaster Rathe to protect against magic damage, along with Iziar in the 4th position to draw enemy attacks and absorb damage. Imperial Knight served as the main tank in the 1st position due to its solid health pool, and Junker sat in the 2nd position to strike front-line enemies while repairing team armor. I brought Uraeus because, without health regeneration, its Poison is hard to neutralize. The last 2 positions featured ranged units to deal continuous damage. It turned out to be an easy match against a low-level, incomplete lineup, granting me a quick victory.

Battle Vs Vapokill

The second battle of this Brawl was completely different, with a much lower mana cap of 12 and access limited to Fire, Water, Life, and Dragon. The Rulesets were Holy Protection, No Pain, No Gain, and Beefcakes. With so little mana, I chose a strategy centered around No Pain, No Gain, picking Archon Kelya Frendul to gain extra defense and fight for initiative. In the 1st position, I fielded Halfling Refugee to output damage as long as Weary didn't stall it. In the 2nd position was Xenith Monk, which seemed ineffective at first since it couldn't attack, but in the 3rd and final position I placed Shock Trooper so its Electrified ability would damage my own team while stacking power through Painforge via No Pain, No Gain. This buffed Xenith Monk until it became strong enough to eliminate enemies without trouble. Interestingly, my opponent ran 2 of the same units with a completely different approach, but my strategy and a bit of luck earned me the victory.

Battle Vs Danielerfan69

In the third battle, we returned to a high mana cap of 55, limited to 3 elements: Water, Death, and Dragon. There were no restrictive Rulesets, but two highly destructive ones: Explosive Weaponry and 'Tis But Scratches. I assembled a lineup designed to mitigate the splash damage from Explosive Weaponry using units with Deflect, but in the end, I suffered my only loss of this Brawl.

Battle Vs Gle321

For the fourth match, we had a moderate mana cap of 30 with 4 elements available: Fire, Water, Life, and Dragon. The Rulesets were Junior Varsity, Noxious Fumes, and Eggceleration, making it a fairly tight battle. I adopted a sustain strategy focused on enduring poison damage, using units that cleansed debuffs or restored health while others chipped away at enemy health pools, securing another win.

Battle Vs Astrogrim

In the fifth battle, we faced another low mana scenario where all elements except Life were permitted. The single Ruleset was What Doesn't Kill You, so I picked a composition that benefited from Enrage, using Archon Possibilus the Wise to boost health, grant Trample, and keep units alive. This was one of the few matches where I fielded Isgald Vorst, who ended up being the star player that brought home the win.

What Doesn't Kill You.

Battle Vs Dd1100

OPPONENT FLED | EL OPONENTE HUYÓ

In my final battle, I earned a default win because my opponent failed to submit a team.

In this Brawl, I think I was the only active participant from my guild, which resulted in lower overall rewards: just 350 Merits and 3.568 SPS. It gives me the push to consider switching guilds, even if reluctantly.
