I know what you think right now, but I was never superstitious. I have always laughed and mocked at those prophets, tarot masters, astrologists and to those fortune tellers on the late night TV program.
But judging what I see on the trending page, I think that these guys would be really successful on Steemit. Actually, I kinda felt that they would throw those trading advisers from their thrones.
Let's remember the posts from all those advisers and predictors who claim that they are successful and that they have a lot experience, but they need more and more so they decided to drain Steemit reward pool for a little bit.
First they write few words about their success and experience, then about a coin that is about to grow at 600% of the price. Then you see diagrams, graphs and lines as they want to prove that they are right. But at the end, there is a DISCLAIMER... What does it mean? That this user just took a crap on his own words. Yes, he just washed his hands from everything bad that can happen if someone listened his advice.
Simply because they wouldn't post any graphs and lines. Only crystal balls, cards and zodiac. And of course, the selfie of an old lady dressed as a gypsy acting like she can see you through your computer. And she knows all, where will some coin go, what is the target of their prices and no disclaimer! She'll just tell you to bury your hair under the nearest tree to get rid of the curse and that you have walk three times around the tree for luck. Then your palm will start itching and you will be able to post on Steemit: "I just invested in_____ and my right palm is itching, which means that I will get the money so I suggest you to invest..." or "I invested in______ and my left is itching, that mans that I will loose the money...".
I don't want this to happen, but it seems that Steemit is heading in that direction. We had all here, but I still haven't seen these guys. As the number of Steemit users insanely grows, and we have a pretty colorful zoo here, I think that we are just days from completely new way of crypto predictions.
This would drive mad the different sorts of religious trails here. Saint Matthew is a Christian patron saint of money (imagine that), and that would probably take it's part in this so you shouldn't trade with the coin that wasn't baptized as an ICO.
This is an old superstition that I couldn't find it's origins. It seems that exists in every culture and if my grandma knows it, and some other grandma on the other side of the world knows it, that means that this superstition is rooted deeply in the humanity. Although there are some different details: some say that if your right palm is itching, you shouldn't scratch it and you will receive money. If you scratch it, you will loose it. Opposite with left palm, scratch for money, don't scratch for loss. Some say that you can scratch your right palm on piece of wood and you will get double. Other say that in those cases you should keep your right hand in your pocket to lure the money in it...
I was really astonished and ready to call my grandma (maybe she knows what will next happen) but I remembered that I was helping on the night before to some of my friends, he was doing something with the mineral wool, and mineral wool can cause you itching... ;)
