We made it, folks. After 3 issues and around 3 years of tip-toeing around the eldritch, we are now all in, haha. These pages depict Harvey and Rosie navigating an in-between realm that Rosie calls "The Loom" because of all the interweaving threads of Rot that congregate here. It's a space where with a little Rot in your blood, some high-end psychedelic drugs, and some spooky know-how, you can project your consciousness into other times/places/parallel realities.
This issue caused me so much trouble in part because for a long time this was just an issue where Harvey and Rosie watch past events, but there was no active participation from them. I wanted to show the readers The Cult of Flickering Ascension during its heyday, but if Rosie only needed to watch past events unfold, why did she need Harvey? Why wouldn't she have just done this on her own already? So over time I came to realize that what she needed was Rupert's blood, that this was going to be a "smash and grab" but on a quantum level, and the reason why she needed Harvey is because she can't fight an entire cult by herself, and also because she has used the Loom too much as a child, and so she has a tendency to get lost in it. She needs fresh blood to find her way home again after astral projecting...
