Hey Actifiters!
Yesterday was a busy day, full of a lot of really great things.
The morning kicked off with some down time at home, but not too much because Eliza had a fairly early t-ball game at 9:00 a.m. I left a little after 8:00 a.m. with her and got to the field to set up and get some warm-ups in with the team before our game started. It was a beautiful morning.
It's been really fun this year with baseball because Eliza has really enjoyed having me as her coach. And I really enjoyed coaching. I've helped as assistant coach the past several years with my kids baseball, but this was my first year being the head coach so to speak. I have learned a lot through it and have really enjoyed it.
After Eliza's game. I headed home with kids and Sasha went to Costco to do some shopping for us and for the kids school. We had a little bit of down time at home and then I made lunch for the kids and got to work changing the oil in our minivan. I've gone back to changing my own oil in our vehicles because of cost savings. It takes a little bit of my time but I kind of enjoy doing it. And it's about a third third to half as expensive depending upon what I can get the supplies for.
After Sasha got home, we scrambled back into the car to head back to the baseball field for flips game. It's fun to see his team improving and the game starting to turn into more of a real baseball game 🙂 after that we headed to one of Philip's friend's house for a birthday party.
All in it was a full day, and a lot of fun!
