Hey guys, I hope you all are fine. This is my entry to the weekend engagement. The question: if I had financial security and I didn't need a job, what would I be doing instead? This kind of came like a wake-up call for me. I have never thought about it, because I think we all believe that we all would never be able to attain the kind of financial stability and financial freedom that we all are looking for, striving for. It is a kind of hurdle to think beyond that, but imagination has no boundaries.
There are two things that I can think about in this scenario. If I have to stop worrying about financial stability, I would engage in travelling. I do a lot of travelling in this case as well. But I do not travel so frequently. I want to travel abroad, I want to travel in my country. There are a lot of beautiful sites, sceneries, historical places, natural beauties, and what not, around the world. I want to witness it all with my eyes before I die. We cannot deny that the earth is so beautiful. We can travel. Travel and tourism has the potential to bring peace across the world.
I believe that travelling is one thing that I myself and the rest of the world needs to do, because life is short and we must make most of the moments that we have. Other than travelling, if I have stopped worrying about financial stability or a job, I would engage in helping people. I do help people in my surrounding areas. Whatever help I can offer, I do it on my own to the people who need it.
I would run an NGO to educate little children who cannot afford quality education or higher education. There are a lot of children in my country who are out of school and cannot afford education because of poverty. If I am stable enough and if I didn't care about a job, I would definitely invest in the young minds. I have always been inclined in helping little children. I cannot obviously afford to do a lot right now because I have to settle myself and my family, but if I am in that position to help, I would definitely go in that direction without a second thought.
