Some reports have suggested that there are police officers calling in sick in protest of their fellow officers being charged in the murder of R Brooks.

The Hypocrisy of It all

No protest of this sort from them when it comes to unconstitutional checkpoints and no knock raids that have resulted in the murder of innocent people.

No protest from them of this kind when it comes to the multi-decade drug war that has destroyed communities and innocent lives around the country.

No call in sick protest over having to arrest people for victimless and peaceful actions, like educating people outside of courtrooms over jury nullification.

We never get any protest on that.

There haven't been any call in sick protests over the myriad of other duties they are tasked with that require them to engage in initiating violence against millions of innocent americans on a regular basis. Where is the outrage over that? Where is the call in sick protest to try and change this?

But one of them might be held accountable for unjust actions? That is when it is time to protest by calling in sick? It speaks volumes.

Also, just because someone gets charged doesn't mean they will be convicted. A trial and evidence will determine that and if there is evidence to determine conviction then that means wrongdoing was engaged in and those 'good officers' we are told who currently work in departments around the country should be eager to seek out that justice and expose the truth. That includes wrongdoers being held responsible.
