I think all the people in the country who have 20 plus years of continuous residency should be able to propose and vote on referendums. It could be done on a blockchain if that would be accepted by the people.
The first item up to be voted on would be something like this.
If any trial is delayed more than six months, a clock starts running. If they are tried two years later and innocent, nothing happens, but if they are tried two years later and found guilty, then their spouse or closest living brother, sister or adult child will go to jail for two years and the guilty party will go to jail for whatever the term would normally be for that crime.
In Hillary's case, Chelsea would be serving 26 years in prison as of the date of her mother's conviction.
Stay with me here. This type of law would motivate the closest relative to turn in their parent or brother before the guilty criminal ends up in a nursing home.
In the nursing home case, I guess we would have to add a clause that if they are convicted at age 90, the relative of choice would still go to jail for the amount of years that people waited for justice.
This is obviously satirical and it could be Trump or his wife instead of Hillary. I am just so sick of watching people who obviously have evidence against them who are not indicted or who are just languishing in freedom for so many years. We have the right to a speedy trial in our laws, but we do not yet have the right to speedy prosecution.
