Friends, after finishing the Eid prayers, we have gone home, that is, we are all our family, but we went to the village to celebrate Eid. This is Eid al-Adha because our cows are slaughtered there every year. So friends, after praying, we went home and after eating and drinking, we went to the place where the cows are slaughtered at our specific place and it is located in our boundary, that is, in our own place. We perform the sacrifice here every year, that is, for the sacrifice, we use this place only for the sacrifice. Every year, not only does everyone in our family enjoy it, but other people also express their gratitude to us for giving us this place.
So friends, our society is the largest society in our village. Here, the poor, the poor, the rich and the poor all live together and behave like best friends. They help each other in times of trouble. This is humanity. This is our Islam. So friends, the cow that you see first is a common cow. First, a priest was brought to slaughter this cow. I showed you the scene of slaughtering this cow. You saw it in my video. Then the common cow that you see is our cow. We bought this cow for 1 lakh 50 thousand taka for profit, that is, to sacrifice it in the name of Allah.
So we have gathered several people to sacrifice our cow because we live in the city and we cannot be that involved with them and we cannot catch the cow properly, so some people from our community have come forward to help us. They slaughtered the cow and arranged it very nicely and neatly. First, they removed the skin and the meat was stored in a beautiful place. Suddenly, a paper was spread in a clean place and it was preserved there. So friends, here is another red cow, as you can see, that cow is very angry and very lively. To slaughter this cow, but we had to hurry because it was so angry that even 10-12 people could not hold it. It was very angry. Then they tied it up very nicely with a rope and then laid it down. But it was seized.
Friends, this time the number of cows in our society has decreased a little. Last year, we sacrificed 18 cows. This time, only 10 cows were sacrificed and nine goats were sacrificed. Alhamdulillah, we were able to participate in the sacrifice. This is a great achievement for us. We thank Allah for keeping us healthy and alive. Friends, you can see here that a festive atmosphere has been created. Men and women, young and old, have come to slaughter and watch the cows. They felt joy. I also took my daughter with me to show them how the cows are being slaughtered. She is a little small and is afraid. That is why I left her with her grandmother and I went to the specific place where the cows are being sacrificed. Friends, this place for cow sacrifice is right next to our house, that is, in our territory. Every year, cows have been sacrificed here since before I was born, and for that, we are very happy and very excited.
