What is 7 multiplied by 4?
Taking double of 7 is 14. To obtain 7 multiplied by 4 is taking the double of 14 which would be 28.
Example Two
What is 16 multiplied by 4?
Double of 16 is 32 and double of 32 is 64. The answer is 64.
Example Three
What is 37 multiplied by 4?
The double of 37 is 74 and double of 74 is 148.

What is 3.5 multiplied by 4?
Double of 3.5 is 7 and double of 7 is 14.
