Hello Everyone! How are you all? As i have started this home decor series this is part 3.
Join me as I transform this plain drawing room wall into a bold, elegant focal point using aesthetic ideas that reflects my style. From planning the theme to placing every piece with care, this makeover is all about creating a cozy space that feels balanced, and aesthetic. If you're into home decor ideas or simply enjoy before-and-after transformations pictures, I hope these episodes gives you ideas for your own home.
So lets get started
First paint the wall navy blue. I personally go with mate colors instead of glossy.
Add curtains, as you can see one is white embroidered curtain which ia handmade and beautifullly made. I personally like classic colors. Same embroidery on same color, just like this one. Pairing it with beige double shaded velvet curtains. One good thing about velvet curtains is that they are flowy and have great fall. Pairing navy blue with beige was a good idea i understood after installing the curtains on this wall.
As the wall is blue and the theme is blue and beige. I choose a three seater sofa with same velvet fabric having double shade with a touch of gold in it. Creating a balanced and appealing look. At first i thought the color would ne bright but after putting everything all together if was giving a vibe. Second and most important thing for sofas are the cushions. Again i picked same color sofas which are silk in fabric and in pleated style.
I think the most favorite thing among all are these golden doves. As i mentioned that the wall is in mate So i had options of mate and glossy for these doves. So i choose to give the glossy one a try on plain mate wall. Lucky the option was right and it suited the theme. They are six pieces you can place them as you want horizontally or vertically
These two beautiful crystal like deers whoch i bought in pairs. Just wanted to add some things to the table as well. Amd for the vase i had this one which i bought long ago just put the flowers in them you can also place fresh flowers for armoa amd creating a peaceful space.
I don't believe in bare tables lol so i want to put something under my decoration piece for which i prefer these golden mats which detailed cutting which is basically plastic in material whit thin fabric.
On both sides of the room are doors one is rest room and the other door is way to veranda. For bathroom door i made this hanging by my self by using fake flowers amd leaves and assembled them around the wire.
For combination i got this deep blue Versace lamp with gold shade on it. Creating a warm space for the theme. This is also one of my favorite article from the corner
The transformation completely changed the aesthetics of the room. What was once a blank empty wall is now a stylish focal point that adds personality to the corner. The combination of colors, theme and decor, and carefully chosen pieces created a clean yet elegant look without making it over loaded.
I love the final results as how the mate wall complements the navy furniture and ties the glossy birds, The gold in it add a touch of luxury amd royality while the neutral curtains are very welcoming. This makeover proves that even a single wall can have a huge impact on the overall setup.
I'm really happy with the final result, and I hope it inspires and provides ideas to anyone looking to refresh their spaces with simple, thoughtful ideas. Every small detail came together beautifully, making the space feel more complete and aesthetically pleasing
