Sex Education

Sex education a kind of enlightenment programme given by parents, guardians, schools, NGOs and other relevant educational bodids to a growing child to create awareness to him or her that will aid him or her to grow up to appreciaye his or her body image, have a high sdl esteem, self confidence and be empowered.

Every child needs sex education especially the girl child who is vulnerable to social or societal prejudices, domestic violence, norms and socio-cultural practices.

I hereby suggest that every parent should take up the responsibilties of giving their children especially the girl child information on sex and sexuality and other related topixs or issues.

Am with the opinion that sex education should be included in the childs school curricullum to brtter their lives for tomorrow.
Sex education includes topics like body image, self- confidence, assertivensss, self esteem, menstruation,communication, family, structure, masturbation,mood,VVF, romantic and inter personal relationships, early marriage, HIV/AIDS, sex and birth control methods, pregnancy and child birth just to mention but a few,

When a girl child has these information, she has a better chance of growing up as an empowered woman than the one who is not.
