Friends, today I want to show you my drawing of the R690 Lime Mic from the game Rising Star. This microphone is special—unlike the others I’ve painted in previous weeks—because it is one of the new ones created for the game. In fact, I believe it was released alongside the website's redesign. It also features a lovely background image depicting a concert. What I like most about this card is the eye-catching fluorescent green color. So, do you want to see how I created the drawing? I’m sure you do. Let’s get started. To begin, I drew the card's frame. This frame is similar to the ones I’ve drawn previously, but slightly wider. Here is how it turned out.
Next, I drew the microphone handle—the central part—followed by the top section with its characteristic circular shape. The bottom part consists of the cable and its fittings, just like on the original card.
After that, I added various aesthetic details, such as the internal divisions, and finished drawing the bottom cable. With that, the sketch was complete.
The next step was to bring it to life with color. I used the eyedropper tool in Adobe Illustrator—just as I have on other occasions—to match the colors from the reference card. As you can see, it turned out beautifully. At least, I like it! Feel free to leave your own opinions. I’ve included photos showing the step-by-step process.
Finally, here is the finished drawing. I added the game's name and the card's name, using the matching colored fonts. And with that, it was done. What do you think? If you like, feel free to leave recommendations for future drawings by telling me which card you’d like to see me illustrate. Thanks for watching, and have a great day!
