Colleagues, I hope you're all doing well. I wanted to show you my new drawing for today. It's of a new guitar I've painted. It's the i107 Plum Bass. This is a very pretty purple electric guitar. I really enjoyed making it, and today I'm going to share the process with you all.
Well, to begin, I started by making the card frame. I used the one on the original card as an example, so it's very similar. It's made up of four rectangles joined together. Together they form a frame, which is why I call it that. At the bottom of the largest rectangle, I left a small notch; that's for adding the card's category in the final step.
Once the frame was finished, I started working on the guitar neck. It's shaped like a long stick, a very elongated rectangle. Below that, I then drew the body of the electric guitar.
What followed were some details that were missing to be drawn, that is, I made the pegbox, that is the part where the tuning pegs are, which I also drew in this step.
Now it's time to paint. With the sketch finished, all that was left was to paint. In the following screenshots, you can see the whole process. By the way, I used both pure colors and spray paint. I used the spray paint for the darker parts of the background. This creates a kind of mist, similar to the one in the original card.
Finally, I painted the different string supports on the guitar, like the one in the center. I also added the embellishments, the strings, and the other elements from the chart. And that's it, folks! See you later.
